SWARM Global November 2026 Contest Official Rules
No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win
1. Overview
Tenable, Inc. ("Tenable") is hosting SWARM Global 2026 (the "Contest"), a free, virtual, skill-based competition in which teams of one (1) to three (3) participants design and build open-source security agents, skills, or MCP servers that address real-world security workflows (for example, alert triage, remediation orchestration, and executive reporting). The Contest is conducted online, primarily through the official SWARM Global Discord server, from November 2, 2026 through November 6, 2026. Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges, and the three (3) highest-scoring teams will win the prizes described in Section 8. This is a contest of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. Entries must be submitted during the Contest Period (as defined below) to Tenable in strict accordance with Tenable's instructions and these Official Rules. Those who do not abide by these Official Rules or Tenable's instructions or the prize fulfillment requirements may be disqualified at Tenable's sole discretion. Tenable may keep all Entrant information after completion of the Contest for business management and record keeping purposes.
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to individuals worldwide who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater, at the time of registration ("Entrants"); however, (a) employees of Tenable or of Anthropic PBC ("Anthropic"), or of any of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members (whether related or not) of each such employee are not eligible; (b) Public Officials1 are not eligible to win the prizes described herein; (c) individuals who reside in, or are ordinarily resident or nationals of, any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions or embargoes (currently including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, so-called Donetsk People's Republic and so-called Luhansk People's Republic regions of Ukraine), and individuals identified on any U.S. government restricted-party list, are not eligible. No purchase of Tenable's products or services is necessary to participate in the Contest. All applicable federal, state, provincial, national and local laws and regulations apply, and this Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Sponsor
The sponsor and administrator of this Contest is Tenable, Inc., with its place of business located at 6100 Merriweather Drive, Columbia, MD 21044, United States of America. The Contest is supported by Anthropic, which is providing judges and the Anthropic platform credits awarded as the Contest Prize. Tenable is solely responsible for administering the Contest, and Anthropic is not responsible for the administration of the Contest, the selection of winners (other than through participation of its representatives on the judging panel), or the fulfillment of any prize other than the provision of the Anthropic platform credits. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or in association with, Discord Inc. ("Discord"). Each Entrant completely releases and absolves Anthropic and Discord and/or any of their affiliates from any liability arising out of or relating to this Contest. In case of complaints or disputes, send an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject line "SWARM Global 2026 Contest."
4. Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in the Contest constitutes Entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Each member of a team must individually register and agree to these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. By accepting a prize, winners represent that they are permitted, by applicable law, regulation, and their relevant employment policies, to accept the prize.
5. Contest Period
The Contest begins with the virtual kickoff on November 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends at the conclusion of the virtual awards broadcast on November 6, 2026 (the "Contest Period").
Tenable may adjust the schedule of optional sessions without amending these Official Rules.
6. Entry and Submission Requirements
To enter the Contest, each Entrant must (a) register at https://info.tenable.com/2026-SWARM-GLOBAL.html before registration closes; (b) join the official SWARM Global Discord server and comply with its code of conduct; (c) participate as part of a team of one (1) to three (3) eligible Entrants; (d) by the Submission Deadline, submit the team's project to the CyberAgents Exchange at https://exchange.tenable.com in accordance with the contribution guidelines published on the associated GitHub repository linked below, and notify Tenable of the submission through the method Tenable specifies on the Discord server (a "Submission"); and (e) ensure that every team member who contributed to the Submission has agreed to the CyberAgents Contribution Agreement available at https://github.com/tenable/cyberagents-exchange/blob/main/docs/CyberAgents_Contribution_Agreement (the "Contribution Agreement"). Only Submissions made to the CyberAgents Exchange, by teams whose contributing members have all agreed to the Contribution Agreement, are eligible to win. Each Entrant may participate on only one (1) team, and each team may make only one (1) Submission. Team membership may not change after the Submission Deadline without Tenable's approval.
Entrants are solely responsible for providing their own large language model (LLM) API tokens, compute, and any other tools or services used to build their Submission, and for all associated costs. Tenable will not reimburse any costs incurred in connection with the Contest. Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be disqualified at Tenable's sole discretion.
7. Judging and Winners
Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by Tenable, which may include Tenable employees and representatives of Anthropic. The judges will select the first-, second-, and third-place teams, at their discretion. The decisions of the judges and Tenable are final and binding. Tenable reserves the right not to award a prize if it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible, qualifying Submissions.
If a potential winner does not comply with these Official Rules, their entry will be void. If a member of a winning team is ineligible or disqualified, that member will not receive a prize, and the team's Contest Prize will be split among the team's remaining eligible members. Eligible participants may win only one prize in this Contest.
8. Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place teams as follows.
Contest Prize (Anthropic Platform Credits). Coupon codes redeemable for Anthropic platform credits, totaling $10,000 USD, will be awarded per team as shown below and split equally among the eligible members of each winning team (rounded down to the nearest whole dollar where necessary):
- 1st place team: $5,000 in credits (for example, approximately $1,666 per member for a three-member team, $2,500 per member for a two-member team, or $5,000 for a one-member team).
- 2nd place team: $3,000 in credits (for example, $1,000 per member for a three-member team, $1,500 per member for a two-member team, or $3,000 for a one-member team).
- 3rd place team: $2,000 in credits (for example, approximately $666 per member for a three-member team, $1,000 per member for a two-member team, or $2,000 for a one-member team).
Credits are subject to Anthropic's applicable terms of service, usage policies, and any redemption terms set by Anthropic, have no cash value, and may not be sold or transferred.
EXPOSURE 2027 Conference Pass. Each eligible member of the first-, second-, and third-place teams will receive one (1) complimentary full conference pass to Tenable's EXPOSURE 2027 conference (estimated value: $995). The pass covers conference registration only; travel, lodging, meals, visas, and all other expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner. Passes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and are subject to the conference's terms of attendance. If a winner is unable to attend, the pass will be forfeited. If EXPOSURE 2027 is canceled, postponed, or changed in format, Tenable will have no further obligation with respect to the pass.
Recognition. Winning teams will also receive a winner patch (estimated value: $10), recognition during the awards broadcast, and featured placement for their Submission on Tenable's CyberAgents Exchange, subject to Tenable's review and publication guidelines. Physical items will be shipped only to locations where Tenable can lawfully do so.
Tenable will announce the winners during the virtual awards broadcast and will notify potential winners using the e-mail address provided at registration and/or via the Discord server. Potential winners must respond within five (5) business days of notification and may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and any applicable tax forms; failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.
9. Taxes
If legitimately claimed, the prize will be awarded. All taxes, social security payments or other fees (including those applicable in your jurisdiction of primary residence), any withholding required by law, and other expenses not specified in these Official Rules as being provided as part of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners. Tenable will not replace and is not responsible for any lost, damaged, mutilated or stolen prize or any prize that is undeliverable or does not reach a winner because of an incorrect or changed address or other contact information. No transfers, prize substitutions or cash redemptions will be made. Tenable reserves the right to substitute the stated prize or portion thereof with another prize or portion thereof of equal or greater value for any reason, including, without limitation, prize unavailability.
10. Ownership and License of Submissions
Each Submission is a contribution to the CyberAgents Exchange and is governed by the Contribution Agreement, which each contributing Entrant must accept as a condition of eligibility. The Contribution Agreement sets out, among other things, the license under which the Submission is provided, the contributor's representations regarding authority (including any required employer permission) and non-infringement, and Tenable's right to remove contributions from the Exchange. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and the Contribution Agreement regarding the rights in or use of a Submission, the Contribution Agreement will control. In addition, each Entrant grants Tenable a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, display, publish (including on the CyberAgents Exchange), and distribute the Submission, the team name, and Pitch Day materials for purposes of administering, publicizing, and promoting the Contest and the CyberAgents Exchange.
11. General Conditions
All applicable laws apply. As a condition of entry, and by participating in and entering the Contest, you agree (i) that you are permitted, by applicable law, regulation, and/or employer policy to accept the Prize(s), and (ii) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Tenable, which shall be final and binding in all respects. You further agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Tenable, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, agents and representatives from any and all claims, charges, injuries, liability, losses and/or damages of any kind caused by, resulting from or arising out of your participation in the Contest and/or your acceptance, use, misuse, loss or misdirection of a prize. Tenable is not responsible for any technical failures, including failures or outages of Discord, internet connections, or third-party APIs, that affect participation or Submissions. Tenable may disqualify any Entrant or team that it finds to be tampering with the Contest, cheating, plagiarizing, harassing other participants, or otherwise acting in violation of these Official Rules or the Discord server's code of conduct. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from this Contest. Tenable's failure to or decision not to enforce any provision in these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. In the event there is an alleged or actual ambiguity, discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials and/or these Official Rules (including any alleged discrepancy or inconsistency in these Official Rules), it will be resolved in Tenable's sole discretion. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules will otherwise remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. If the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, Tenable reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest and award the prizes based on Submissions received prior to cancellation, modification, or suspension or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Tenable.
12. Privacy
Each Entrant agrees to the use of personal information submitted when they enter as detailed in Tenable's Privacy Policy posted at: https://www.tenable.com/privacy-policy. Tenable collects personal information in order to conduct the Contest, and Entrants' personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. The Entrants' personal data may be used for the following purposes: (a) to contact potential winners; (b) in compliance with applicable laws, to send Entrants marketing communications, including via e-mail, about Tenable products and services; and (c) marketing purposes using the Entrant's Submission, team name, or Pitch Day presentation. You should direct any request to access, update or correct information to Tenable by emailing your request to [email protected]. By participating in the Contest and accepting these Official Rules, you acknowledge and consent to the use of your data as set out above. Entrants acknowledge that the kickoff, Pitch Day, and awards broadcast may be recorded and published. By entering the Contest (except where prohibited by law), you grant Tenable the irrevocable, free of charge, absolute right and permission to use, publish, post or display your name, likeness, voice (as captured in any Contest recording), generic job title, and generic employer category (e.g., International telecommunications company), for advertising, trade, promotional and publicity purposes without further obligation or compensation of any kind, anywhere, in any medium now known or hereafter discovered or devised (including, without limitation, on the Internet), world-wide. If you provide permission, Tenable will also have the foregoing rights to use your specific employer and your specific job title.
13. Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability and Disputes
NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES LIMITS, EXCLUDES OR MODIFIES OR PURPORTS TO LIMIT, EXCLUDE OR MODIFY ANY STATUTORY CONSUMER GUARANTEES OR ANY IMPLIED CONDITION OR WARRANTY, THE EXCLUSION OF WHICH FROM THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WOULD CONTRAVENE ANY STATUTE OR CAUSE ANY PART OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES TO BE VOID ("NON-EXCLUDABLE GUARANTEES"). SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS IN THE PRECEDING SENTENCE, TENABLE EXCLUDES FROM THESE OFFICIAL RULES ALL CONDITIONS, WARRANTIES AND TERMS IMPLIED BY STATUTE, GENERAL LAW OR CUSTOM EXCEPT FOR LIABILITY IN RELATION TO A NON-EXCLUDABLE GUARANTEE. YOU AGREE THAT THE PRIZE IS PROVIDED AS-IS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, WHETHER NOW KNOWN OR HEREINAFTER ENACTED, RELATIVE TO THE USE OR ENJOYMENT OF THE PRIZE, BEYOND ANY NON-EXCLUDABLE GUARANTEES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SPONSOR BE LIABLE FOR ATTORNEY'S FEES.
EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED, AS A CONDITION OF PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE THAT ANY AND ALL DISPUTES THAT CANNOT BE RESOLVED BETWEEN THE PARTICIPANT AND TENABLE, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THIS CONTEST, OR THE PRIZE AWARDED, OR THE DETERMINATION OF THE WINNER MUST BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION. FURTHER, IN ANY SUCH DISPUTE, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL YOU BE PERMITTED OR ENTITLED TO OBTAIN AWARDS FOR PUNITIVE, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES, OTHER THAN PARTICIPANT'S ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES (IF ANY), NOT TO EXCEED ONE-HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100.00).
14. Governing Law
Except where prohibited by applicable local law, this Contest and any dispute arising under or related thereto (whether for breach of contract, tortious conduct or otherwise) will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Maryland, without giving effect to its conflicts of law or choice of law principles. Any legal actions, suits or proceedings related to this Contest (whether for breach of contract, tortious conduct or otherwise) will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Maryland, and each participant accepts and submits to the personal jurisdiction of those courts with respect to any legal actions, suits or proceedings arising out of or related to this Contest.
